KILL ALL IMMORTALS II #1, written by Zack Kaplan, illustrated by Fico Ossio, colors by Thiago Rocha, with letters by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou.

A writer with a trans kid and a penchant for cheating gets hired to reboot a young adult fantasy series complete with a tradcon bigoted current writer. Neat.

So... Sammi decided she wanted to read the youngling book... I don't know how stoned she was when she chose it but hey, she liked it so that says something.

Of course, there's a Heritage Month on so that means we'll get some random specials from characters that only get pulled out when that happens. What's even more annoying is that this is REALLY good and showcases why with a good creative team, even a c-lister like White Tiger could have a good ongoing or at least hold her own in a miniseries.

Apparently this is the prologue for DC KO and... I have questions but ultimately had fun reading it. 

JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE OMEGA ACT SPECIAL #1, written by Joshua Williamson, art by Cian Tormey, colors by Yasmine Putrie, with letters by Dave Sharpe.

The Absolute Universe has been brilliant and this issue adds a great depth to the upcoming trials for the heroes in a world of evil.
