This week the podcast brings you another episode of our series Bands You Should Know. North Jersey's own Joker's Republic joins us to talk about the origin of their name, working with Roger Lima on their latest album and a host of other topics as we get to know this amazing ska punk band!
This week FL&B welcomes Colin from Timeline Scavengers to the podcast! We talk a bit about the concept of his show, the insanity of moving and one of his favorite pop punk bands of all time, The Starting Line!
This week the show goes on the road to talk with James Jarvis of 138 Tattoo and Piercing. We talk about where the name of the shop comes from, he adds a track to our Mental Health Playlist and we talk about one of his favorite bands, Misfits!
It what was originally meant to be an episode focusing on a Coheed & Cambria album that was not covered in the first episode, turned into a random wandering of Coheed's greatest moments, vinyl collection conversation and trying to work on Rob's new neon light. It's random, it's out there, but we talked a lot of Coheed & Cambria, so strap in folks it's gonna be a long one!
In the life of any podcast, the show some times begins to get new ideas and grow into something different. While there are no intentions on leaving our First Last & Best mantra, the idea for Bands You Should Know took a sudden shift into something different. Instead of listing off bands I think you should know, I bring these bands to you, and let them tell you themselves why you should know them! Our first band you should know? An alt rock band from Lansing, Michigan called Rodeo Boys. We talk about line up changes, signing with Don Giavoni and life on the road! Give it a listen and then go find them everywhere they are!

After what could only be described as a really stressful and tough week, Rob had an idea for a new episode and something else. This week, Rob and Jeff got together to talk about the importance of mental health and to create First Last & Best's own mental health playlist. If there are songs you want to see on it, please comment and let us know what has helped you in some of your hardest times, it will get added to the list.
If you or someone you know is hurting, in trouble or just needs someone to talk to, please know that there is help out there and resources that can save a life. Music can help, but so can honest and earnest conversations. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!
