It was a great day of worship for Pentecost! Our last hymn was almost a declaration, “Are we yet alive?” The answer in Troup UMC  is a resounding yes!!! May our reason be Christ, and our response be His grace this week (Titus 3:3-7!) Have a blessed day!

A wonderful  Senior Sunday as we worshipped Christ and honored the Troup senior class! One teaching of the Holy Spirit matters above all the others! Listen carefully to His reminders this week. His Word has changed my life and yours! That’s a great reason to hope! Have a good week!

Thankful for a day of worship at Troup Methodist! Folks, Christ has been pushed passed his comfort zone (Romans 5:8) , and does not negotiate a believers devotion to Him. May we be His slaves (John 13:4) and all in (John 13:14) for his glory this week! Put on Christ, one is never wrong when they do so!

Great worship!!!! I have to say, this Pastor REALLY appreciated “And Can it Be That I Should Gain” was sung for the final hymn today (at the end of the podcast) , with a 1st chorus refrain at the end ACAPELLA! I almost went to heaven on that note! Christ has Rescued us from the power of darkness, and is our past, present, and future! Have a blessed day!

Christian’s don’t wear Noah’s Arks around their necks on necklaces. We are Christians because we believe death didn’t hold Jesus in the grave “For it was impossible for Him to be held by it.”- Acts 2:24. How can we be sure? Why is the Bible sure this event happened? Folks, Christ is not a conditional God , He is the only condition whatever our circumstances might be! On this 5th Sunday of Lent: We reflect on why Jesus is superior to all things we have gained, and why His inspiration is the cause of  many historical events!
