Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." If this is true, why do bad things still happen to us? Why is there suffering and evil in the world? If this is true, why is life so difficult for me? How do we make sense of it? Join us as we seek to answer this question from God's Word.

One of the greatest questions we can ask is what is the best way to live out our faith in Jesus in practical ways? How can we cultivate a lifestyle of following Jesus? How can you personally get involved in serving Jesus and making a difference?

To answer that question, we are going to hear from some of our own First Missionary people and what they learned on recent mission trips. Kelli Moore and Kristine Oyer will be sharing about their recent mission trip to Kenya to visit Missionary Robyn Moore. Pastor Michael Baer, Brent Lehman, Radar Smith, Nate Wilson, and Leah Summersett will be sharing about their recent mission trip to Maytown, Kentucky.

Is Jesus REALLY the only way? Can Jesus be true for you but not for me? Aren't we being exclusive and judgmental by saying Jesus is the only way? How are we to make sense of others who believe differently than Christians? And is it possible that Jesus being the only way can be good news? Join us as we address this difficult question.

Do you ever struggle with doubt or wonder why you believe what you believe? Today, we begin a new series exploring all sorts of questions about the Christian faith. Today's question is this: How do we know the resurrection of Jesus Christ ACTUALLY happened? And what difference does it make? Our prayer is that you will know WHY you believe what you believe and be transformed by the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

How do we grieve well? How do we help and come alongside those grieving? In this message, Pastor Rick continues his interview with 4 local funeral directors to help shed some insight on this topic. We will also look at what the Bible says about this.

Why is death such an uncomfortable topic? How can we face the death of a loved one or our own death? And how does the resurrection of Jesus Christ change everything? For our Easter message, Pastor Rick had the privilege of interviewing 4 local funeral directors in our area. In this interview, we discuss all these questions and learn about death and resurrection hope because of Jesus.

Do you have a complicated relationship with your parents, or your children, or your family? As Jesus was hanging on the cross, He uttered some incredible last words. In this section, while Jesus was dying, he provided for his mom's future by having the Apostle John take care of her. What do we learn from Jesus' last words? And how does this empower us to think about and treat our parents, children, and family differently? Join us as we marvel at Jesus.

As Jesus was hanging on the cross, He said to one of the criminals being executed beside him, "...today, you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43) This is amazing! What does this teach us about death? And what happens to us when we die? How could this criminal at the last hour be guaranteed access to paradise with Jesus? And what does this tell us about Jesus? Last words are usually important, and Jesus' last words teach us some incredible truths.

Forgiveness is a word many of us know about, we know what it means, but we struggle to experience it. Luke 23:34 will gives us base as we seek to learn how to regularly experience and share forgiveness.
