    years in Danbury Twp. as an EMT/Firefighter. He is devoted to helping others. He is always there when someone needs help. He has a goal of going through the police academy and getting the trifecta of doing Police, Fire, and EMS. He is a great father to his 5 kids and loves his family!"

She was born and raised on our family farm in Norwalk . When she comes home she helps on the family farm. During college she worked on a habitat for humanity home in Louisiana during the summer . She is very much a people person and loves her patients. She graduated from Ashland University with honors."

    Chief Eden is beyond dedicated to his community. He has been a volunteer fire fighter since 1973 and chief since 1995. Day or night, when the tone goes off, he's out the door, very rarely missing a call. He spends countless hours devoting his time to the community attending meetings, trainings, and organizing pancake breakfasts and chicken BBQs. He's
    not only a great firefighter but the greatest dad in the world. He is my HERO!

    working up from part time to full time driver to full time lieutenant to
    battalion chief and now has is the assistant fire chief of Oberlin for past
    couple years. Mike has shown the community that guys in turnout gear isn't scary by going to schools and teaching the younger generation what we do and what to do if something happens. Mike also helps the college out by teaching college students how to use a fire extinguisher which has saved many dorms by teaching them that. During his service at Oberlin fire department he also worked for lifecare ambulance as a paramedic."

He is a great role model for the youth in the community. Always is doing some activity with them. Also is on the Special Response Team(SRT)!
