CONGRATULATIONS! to Chip Ward, Volunteer fireman and EMT with Berlin Township Fire Department, this week's K96/Marblehead Soap Company First Responder of the Week! Chip was nominated by his wife Tammy and she had this to say: "I nominate my husband Chip Ward. Not only does he have a full-time job where he works 55 hours a week. He is also a volunteer fireman and EMT with a Berlin Township fire department. Just about all "volunteer" fire departments get paid per fire except for Berlin Township fire department. They are 100% volunteer. Not only does he risk his life for free. He also helps saves lives for free being an EMT. I'm very proud of my husband."

CONGRATULATIONS to newly retired K9 Thor of The Perkins Township Police Department, this week's K96 and Marblehead Soap Company First Responder of the week! K9 Thor was picked by Kami & Josh this week for a job well done! He has been serving the department with narcotic detection, criminal apprehension, tracking and article searches and just being an overall good boy since 2016!

CONGRATULATIONS! to Ruth Kremer Manager of the Sheffield Village location of Fresenius Kidney Care, this week's K96/Marblehead Soap Company First Responder of the Week!  Ruth was nominated by Eric and he had this to say: "Ruth took over as the manager of the Sheffield location six months ago, after a long career as an Emergency Room RN. In these short six months she has organized the staff and developed them into a team, that can best serve the dialysis patients. She has worked closely with the patients to form a bond, and a friendship where the feel respective, heard, and cared for. She has been able to use her vast medical knowledge to help explain the kidney care process to their patients. She has excelled in her positions a manger for this location, and we are truly honored to have her here for us."
