The motion of no confidence against Ekurhuleni Mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana has once again stalled. The Electoral Commission of South Africa, IEC says it is investigating the ANC's R102 million debt settlement with Ezulweni Investments. This follows a request by ActionSA for the IEC to investigate how the debt was settled. Ezulweni, a KwaZulu-Natal based marketing company took the ANC to court after its failure to pay the money it owed for 2019 election posters. The Inclusive Society Institute says mistrust of immigrants from Africa deepened among all South Africans in recent times. The institute says its GovDem survey has revealed that nationally more than two-thirds of respondents indicated that they do not trust immigrants from Africa. Between male and female, 67.44% males didn't trust immigrants whilst 67.98% of females did not trust immigrants from Africa as well. The Electoral Commission of South Africa, IEC says one of its officials is behind the recent leaks of the ANC and uMkhonto weSizwe's candidate lists.
