Human Rights Watch say there is no political will to address the surge in alleged ethnically-driven killings in the Darfur region of Sudan. Hundreds of Masalit civilians were reportedly targeted, tortured, raped and killed earlier this month in Ardamata town, West Darfur by the Rapid Support Forces. The paramilitary group which is at war with the Sudanese army, has been accused of committing human rights violations.
