The government will today launch the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign at the Johannesburg Expo Centre in Nasrec. The theme for this year's launch is "Socio-Economic Rights and Empowerment to build Women's Resilience against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide: Connect, Collaborate, Contract". The 16 Days of activism is a United Nations campaign that takes place annually from the 25th of November.
