The police ministry says representatives from taxi service Uber have urged them to find a way to best deal with the ongoing fued between its partner drivers and the metered taxi industry. Uber has requested a meeting with the police ministry following the death of one of its partner drivers from burn wounds.The uber driver was in his car when it was set alight, allegedly by metered taxi drivers, outside Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria last month. State security forces in Rwanda have killed at least 37 suspected petty offenders and forcibly disappeared four others since April 2016, according to a new Human Rights Watch report. The Constitutional Court has ruled that local authorities must provide accommodation for evicted people although they have to do this within available resources. It says the City of Cape Town has a duty to provide accommodation for a group of workers evicted from a bricks manufacturing farm in Wolwerivier.
