Courage is a necessity to help us live with the reality of fear, and hold it in balance. Courage lets fear inform our actions, but not rule them, and brings freedom from fear.

As Teilhard de Chardin framed it, "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience." How do we shift our awareness of the relationship between personality and soul so that our joy and light shine through?

Aaron Norris, Ministerial InternThe modern author Thomas Moore wrote in his book Care of the Soul: "The soul is in the vicinity of taboo." What could he mean by such an odd turn of phrase? Aaron will explore what happens when we keep the soul in a place like that and how we might treat our souls and ourselves better.

It is characterized by mindfulness, reflection, and attention to the heart and beauty, seeing that daily life offers opportunities to grow in subtle ways and that growth takes time.
