  • All is not Lost
I once had my wallet stolen. It sucked. All my credit cards, money, and identification were instantly gone. The hassle of having to replace everything was miserable and time-consuming. The worst part was I had to deal with my stolen identification. Having to prove who I was without having proof. It seems that's something men have to do all the time. We continue to have to prove who we are to ourselves and God especially when we blow it. Join us this week as talk about what happens when we lose it, when everything is taken away. Listen in as we are reminded that "All is not lost".

  • Survival
How many men would say they are just surviving? Barely keeping it together. Yet John 10:10 says that Jesus came to give us life more abundantly. But if we are honest many men feel like if they take one more step they are just going to fall into a pit forever. Living in abundance is a great thought, but not something we will ever know. Let me ask you, are you living a life better than you have ever dreamed of? Then either one of two things is true. Either Jesus was blowing smoke when he said that, or we are truly missing out on a life he has promised. Join us as we talk about what it means to live life abundantly.

  • Fake or Fact
Fake or Fact. All men choose an identity. You can never live beyond the identity you have adopted. The problem is, that if we are honest, we choose a fake identity. Pretending to be someone we are not, to hide our insecurities. We don't know the real identity given to us. So we would rather live in a fake identity because it is safe....or at least that is what we think. But truthfully that fake identity is killing you. But that is the problem. Our real identity is so much better than the fake ones we choose. Our real identity is given to us, not created by us. So the question is, what has to die in you so that you can live in your true identity? Join us as we dive into why we choose a fake identity and how God longs for us to adopt our true factual identity.

  • Zombie
Zombie = a will-less and speechless human. That's really the definition. Look it up. How many men feel like zombies? We have lost our will and our voice. We live from a false-self that is truly like the walking dead. Join us as we talk to a buddy who died 3 times and came back to life. His story is about physical death, but also the death of our true-self. Every man battles with two words: SHAME "I'm not" and FEAR "I can't". Listen in as we talk openly about living like a zombie and how God can bring us back to life.

  • Son of a... PT. 2
With every wound comes a lie; with every lie, an agreement; and with every agreement, a vow. Ok so there is a country song out now called "Son of Sinner" by Jelly Roll. Yes, that is his name. Check out the song. It's a good song. A line from the song says, "Talk to God and tell Him what I think. At first, He's gonna hate me. But eventually He'll save me. I'm just a long-haired Son of a Sinner. Searching for new ways I can get gone." In this episode, we dive into our messed-up ideas about sonship to God. Many of us think God is gonna hate us for telling him exactly what we think or feel or how we have been wounded. So we buy the lie that God can't handle or doesn't care. We make an agreement with ourselves that He can't be trusted and vow to never be truly who we are with him. Our identity is corrupted by what we think it means to be a son. Yet God has a different definition of sonship. Take a listen as we begin to discover the true idea of what it means to be a son to a king.

  • Son of A...
Son of a...Ya we have all said that. But have you ever thought about what you are actually a son of? Recently, my father passed away and it has given me some time to reflect on what it means to have a father and to be a son. The episode photo for this podcast is a picture of me and my father. Man, I was a cute baby. In this episode, we go deep into the idea of the father/son relationship. No matter the quality of your relationship with your father, it has affected the way you see and trust the Father. (ie. God) Join us as we talk openly about what it means to be a son to the Father. Crazy thought: Even Jesus needed his dad's approval. Matt 3:17 "This is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased".
