Love Turns Bitterness Into Forgiveness - So many people who are struggling with forgiveness have likely let it turn into bitterness. However, if we love others and value others the way that Christ values us, we will be able to overcome that bitterness to love those people. Is there someone you need to forgive in order to be released from feeling bitterness towards them?

Loving The Unlovable - Jesus had the incredible ability to look past people's current situation or even how they behave, but Jesus saw the heart of those He spoke to. We're called to this same love of everyone, no matter their situation, appearance, or beliefs, we're called to love those who would be unlovable to others.

Loving Like You've Never Been Hurt - To love means that you're going to open yourself up to another person emotionally, and for those that have been hurt after opening up to others, loving can come with more difficulty. However, if we don't open ourselves up to love and be loved we run the risk of not experiencing this joy.

Living A Life of Love - Love is something that we're required to do regardless of how we feel in a situation. Our love as Christians is unconditional. The same is true of how our Heavenly Father loves us, it's not conditional of what we've done or our attitude towards Him, but His love is unconditional. It is always there, no matter what!

Loving Like Jesus - Loving like Jesus is a commandment that was given to us by our savior. However, the human sinful condition makes loving unconditionally something that is almost impossible. It is only when we experience that unconditional love from Christ that we're able to pour that love out on others as well.

Forgiveness Is A Matter of The Heart - As we've mentioned often this week, in our own strength it is nearly impossible to forgive others unconditionally. It is only through Christ's love that we're able to release the anger in our lives and truly forgive. To forgive and not pick up the frustrations and anger again later.

Revenge and Forgiveness - Vengence does not belong to you, but to the Lord. As humans, it is our first instinct to "get even" instead of forgiving. However, we read that revenge is not our responsibility, and what we are called to do in these situations is to continue to put our faith in God and live for Him alone.

Remembering To Forget - Letting go of the past if a key element in forgiveness and letting go often means doing your best to forget. When we hold on to the pains in our lives we don't allow ourselves to move on from the pain. It is only by God's strength that we're able to let go of the past pains in the form of memory.

Forgiveness Is A Process of God's Grace - Under our own strength, we are not able to truly forgive someone in our hearts. Under our own strength, we go through stages of anger that can lead to forgiveness, but there are emotions like hate that happen along the way. But when we trust God to give us the strength to forgive others, we are set free from those emotions.
