The Challenge of Receiving Service - For some reason it's easier to serve others instead of being served by others. We must have humility as Christians to receive love from others in the form of acts of service. Jesus did a fantastic job of showing the disciples how to receive service, even to receive service from the son of God.

Serving Without Insecurity - Servant leadership is a calling that God puts on each of our hearts and not something that is sought out. This is because we're not called to serve in a way that makes each of us celebrities, but someone who's behind the scenes working for God's glory. You can be secure in your faith and serve without consideration of what others will think or how others are serving because you are serving how God has called you to serve.

The Fellowship of The Towel and The Basin - Servanthood is a character trait that has fallen out of favor with our society that is pressing to elevate the individual instead of serving others. Servanthood can be defined as someone who observes a need and assumes responsibility to meet that need under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Will you choose to value others and serve others this week and in the future?

Integrity - Practicing What You Preach - As you've probably learned, living as a Christian comes with judgment from those around us, and maintaining integrity is critical for your witness. Practicing what you preach is important in all areas of our lives to maintain integrity and live for Christ without compromising our witness.

Integrity-Creating Boundaries - As believers we are aware of the temptations in our lives, and where we are vulnerable to sin. Creating boundaries and monitoring who we associate with is a way to protect ourselves and loved ones from harm and temptation.

Walking Close To The Lord - Maintaining our integrity requires a close walk with Christ in order to sustain us when times are hard. Not one of us walks so closely to the Lord that we can't fall away from the Lord. As we continue to walk with Christ we are given power to maintain our integrity and live lives worthy of the cause of Christ.

Standing Up Against The Tempter - We can not resist temptation in our own strength, and we can not resist the devil in our own strength. Without dependence on the Lord we are subjected daily to the onslaught of worldly temptations, and it is only through the power of God that we're able to persevere. And when we fail, it is only God's grace and love that allows us to be redeemed. Praise God!

Integrity - Staying Alert - Developing our faith includes growing the moral code that God created each of us with. And the most valuable tool that God put in each of us is our ability to have integrity. It is a guiding principle for ourselves and others to be able to trust one another on a deeper level.
