Fish With Friends

Today we had a very interesting Rando Texto where a woman sent us a message about how she accidentally hit her husband's car in the driveway and proceeded to make her 5-year-old lie about it. She wanted to know if she should come clean about the accident or just tell her kid that he needs to keep it a secret from dad. You let us know what you thought and it was pretty one-sided. Also on the show, we learned the age that most people consider to be "grown up", we also asked you what the weirdest way you or someone you know got fired for the #TQOTD, and Christine ruined Fish's celebrity crushes. The NCAA Tournament is coming up in a couple of weeks and you need to get your family prepared. That means getting the infant on a good nap schedule and getting your toddler to root for your team. Oh yeah, and Steve shares something about getting your kid off a pacifier too.

Today's Text Question of the Day was "What's a purchase you hid from everybody?" and Christine and Steve both probably should have kept their answers to themselves. Like seriously... Immediately after they both said their answers, they regretted it and asked Fish not to say them again during the show. So, you get to hear them once and only once. Unless Fish decides to mess with them. Also on the show, we learned about some things that people appreciate a lot more since the pandemic began, we found out that Taylor Swift has some issues with a certain Netflix show, and you told us all about that purchase you hid from everyone for the Text Question of the Day. Today on the show, we learned of a couple of siblings who are working to get a made up word added to the dictionary to honor their recently deceased father. The word is "orbisculate" and it "describes when a citrus fruit squirts in your eye". Well, we had some fun with that and talked a little bit about some other made up words and languages we experienced in our lives. Also on the show, we asked you what you learned from a TV show for the Text Question of the Day, we helped a sister with a brain sort out a speedbump in her relationship, and we got to check out 3 amazing Zoom call fails from last week. It's time again for another Connie and Fish Saturday Rewind Show where we showcase all of the Connie and Fish Rewinds from the week. This week the featured clips need a warning pig before you hear them (they are not for little ears). The clips are a call from everyone's favorite mouse, Naughty Mickey as well as a follow up call from a very angry Goofy who weighs in on what Mickey said. Also on the show, we hear the very first time that Stewart the Stuart made an appearance on the show, we got to hear Connie tell everyone that eating a well-done steak is a perfectly good way to go, and Fish finally learns a new recipe. Today on the show we had a very special guest and member of the Click of Six sit in with us... Fish's wife, Alicia! Or, as Fish would say it, "My wife!" (think Borat). She brought us in donuts and just ended up staying for the entire rest of the show, but that meant that we could hear what the dynamic between Fish and Alicia was really like. We even got to hear a very famous little saying that his Fish's mom would say to him that isn't really appropriate for the radio. Also on the show, Steve reviewed a couple of movies coming out this weekend, we helped a member of the Click of Six with a problem he got into after saying "I am the daddy", and we got to hear the origin of Stewart the steward in a Connie and Fish Rewind.
