Fish With Friends

On today's show, Connie calls in a gives everyone an update as to where she has been. If you haven't had a chance to listen to the show recently, Connie has been gone for over a week and today she called in to tell us that she has been diagnosed with liver and kidney cancer. She is still in the early stages of the diagnosis and doesn't know what her treatment plan is going to be yet. That was part of the reason she didn't want to announce anything yet, because she wanted to share more information with the Click of Six once she had it. But, since things weren't going that quickly, she really wanted to give everyone an update in the meantime. We talked with her for about 35 minutes on the show about everything going on. Also on the show, we find out what the average marriage was like in 1939, we hopefully solved a family's sleep arrangement woes, and Steve recommends a couple of new movies to stream this weekend. Today on the show we shared our most recent google searches and things got a little bit weird. Fish found a blog that listed the weirdest google searches in every state and some of them just got down right hilarious. Michigan's weirdest search was "Making Cannabutter" but Steve definitely had a weirder one. Also on the show, we asked the always controversial question "is it OK to spank your kids?", we got an update on the world of Karens from our favorite new segment "The Karen News Network", and we asked the Click of Six to tell us a story about the last time they ended up in a principal's office. All of that and much more on today's show!

Fish and Steve take over the show because Connie is out sick and they each told the story of their first makeout sessions. Fish's was at the movies and Steve had a story about his girlfriend at the time picking him up and driving him behind a Rite Aid and making out for a half an hour before driving him back home and dropping him off at his parent's house. Also on the show, we tried to decode what could have been a secret message from Aaron Rodgers, Steve shared some brand new audio of his daughter Charlotte during Daddy Tips, and we asked when someone should give their significant other a key to their place. This week's Daddy Tips are focusing on Steve's toddler, Charlotte as she begins to talk more and play harder outside this fall.

On today's show we had a very interesting Text Question of the Day. We asked the Click of Six to share an industry secret from their field. Don't worry about getting in trouble for sharing though, we kept you anonymous. Little did we know that we would get some information that may change the way we do some things. Also on the show, we asked if it was OK to hook up in other people's house, Fish announces that his wife fell off her horse again (she hurt herself but is doing fine now), and we did a quick recap of the Emmys.  All of that and much more on today's show!

After many years of marriage, some people think that they've lost their spark. Some of those people also think that this is a normal part of marriage. We had a member of the Click of Six write in to us about this very thing and wanted to know if it was normal to lose your spark after having kids for about 4 years. A lot of people weighed in and some people might have projected a little bit about their own lives. Also on the show, we learned that Taco Bell is making its own wine, we asked if it was OK to wear a Hooters mask to elementary school, and Steve reviewed Mulan and the new Bill and Ted movies. When do you think stores should start putting out their Christmas decorations? How about now? Stores are starting to put out their decorations early this year because of COVID and some people are losing their minds. We discuss that on the show as well as when we thought it was OK to put out our own decorations. Also on the show, we got some brand new stories from the Karen News Network, we learned that men can almost always detect when a woman is using her "flirty face", and would you drink a margarita that's made out of Mountain Dew? Today on the show we dove into the world of double standards. Specifically, we looked at the double standard of telling your friends to go to a bar or restaurant to "check someone out". A member of the Click of Six wrote in and asked why it was OK for women to do that, but it wasn't for men. Turns out a lot of people had an opinion on the subject. Also on the show, Steve shared an awesome tip on how to trick your kid into thinking they are getting a day at the beach for Daddy Tips, Connie found some brand new workout clothes for Fish, and we talked all about saggy boobs.
