First off, Happy Turkey Day! And secondly, oh boy did we have an insane show today. We did so many things it was hard to stay on track. Fish played another game of Name That Sound, Steve went to the movies and did his Daddy Tips, Connie had a special Thanksgiving edition of What Connie's Learned, and we got to talk to Wendy Wheeler of DHHS about Connie and Fish Christmas Kids. Oh and we are forgetting the best part of the show... The annual Gobble Off contest where 3 listeners battle for the best turkey gobble in the country! All of that and much more on today's show!

We got a Rando Texto today that was so crazy that Connie had to reach out to the person who sent it to make sure it was real. It was, and it was really crazy. The person who sent in the message needs a kidney transplant and his sister is a match. So, what does the sister do? She demands a new Jeep in exchange for her kidney. Also on the show, we listed off a ton of fun facts about Thanksgiving, we talked a lot about how rude it is to ask "are you having (more) kids?", and Red Lobster has the perfect gift available for Christmas. Let us all say a prayer for Nick. He had to call in sick on Friday because he had oral surgery. So, who is Nick, you ask? Nick is some random guy at a huge company who accidentally sent out an email to his ENTIRE COMPANY that said he was going to be out on Friday. Well, this company just happened to be a TV News company and the other employees had a field day with his email. Also on the show, we learned about an 80-year-old woman who beat the heck out of a burglar, we recapped the AMA Awards, and we asked if it was OK for a married man to drive a drunk single girl home from the bar. Today's Rando Texto was a little bit of a mystery. A brother in pain sent us a message about him catching his wife play fighting with a friend. It seems normal on the surface, but the weird part was the way they acted after they got caught. We asked you to help us get to the bottom of this mystery and hopefully, we figured it out. We had a doozy of a #secret on yesterday's show so we had to explore it a little bit further today. A woman wrote to us about a friend's husband groping her inappropriately for years. This lead us to a long discussion about what she should do in this situation. We honestly don't think there was one right solution, but hopefully one of the suggestions we gave helped. It's that time of year again where we team up with Wendy Wheeler from the Department of Health and Human Services and help foster kids have a better Christmas. Over a hundred kids will enter into foster care during the holidays and when they do, they bring with them very little. We are gathering toys, toiletries, clothes, books, and more to help the foster parents provide a happy holiday season for the kids. You can get more information about it here.
