While it is no surprise that the numbers of single black mothers continues to be on the rise, we need to stop and take a look at the reasons behind this, and unfortunately it starts with taking a look in the mirror. This episode discusses the realities of toxic relationships, and the sad truths about many long term relationships. As a woman who is single, I often look around, and unfortunately don’t see many happy women in happy relationships these days. I have realized that the romanticized notion of marriage or a relationship is not all it’s cracked up to be. I discuss my personal views and experiences with my unhealthy and unhappy relationships, and why I’m actually happier single, even though it sucks to admit. Enjoy!

I definitely got a lot of push back which I expected because it is a touchy subject, but I also wanted to be honest about my experiences… which a lot of people don’t always like to hear.
