Anyway, some find it really disrespectful that you choose to focus on your phone instead of valuing your time together. If that’s the only thing you want to do, why bother going out at all? We live in an age of instant gratification, we want everything now regardless of what that means for later.  Just ask Jamie about her recent run-in with instant gratification and the delayed regret it ultimately brought her.  None of us are immune to the allure of instant anything, and quick fixes are offered everywhere we turn. But, it’s not quality.  It’s not built to last.  We have to put in the work for what we want, and we have to stop comparing our beginning to someone else's middle or end.
