Body image is how you see yourself when you look in the mirror or when you picture yourself in your mind.
Many people have concerns about their body image. These concerns often focus on weight, skin, hair, or the shape or size of a certain body part.
Here I talk to Salma Dinani. She talks about how to love yourself first before she will take her clients to help them. She says “One of the first questions I ask a new client before we start on their fitness program is “what is your main fitness goal?”
Salma changed her approach and started teaching clients to train and eat because they love their bodies instead of hating their bodies.
When talking to Salma, I could relate how I felt during the times I never loved myself or had a hard time understanding why I couldn’t lose the weight I wanted to lose.
Everybody’s body is different and unique in its own way!
