Well, that sure was something wasn’t it? The WNBA season, for all it’s highs and lows, ended with the New York Liberty claiming their first WNBA championship in franchise history. Yes, there will plenty to discuss regarding officiating and end-of-game sequences. But the one thing I kept coming back to is that mainstream discussion against an NLCS clinching game and Sunday Night Football shows the growth of the league.
