Happy Father's Day and Freedom Day! 

I mean, I guess I'm back? There should probably be a space where my sons are able to hear me just in case something were to happen to me. So, here we are, again.

My son was very excited to put together the bookshelf last night when he should have been sleeping. I'm happy we go to share that moment together!

Kratos feels like a black father from a generation or two before me. The world and his journeys have hardened him, and he does not know how to display affection to his young son. Playing this game alongside reading "All About Love" by bell hooks is going to be an amazing experience. 

In perspective of playing the new game, I got to thinking of how lonely it must've been for Kratos in the original trilogy. Just killing and solving puzzles all while seeking revenge and at the employment of the Greek Gods. 

Just because you may agree with that person, or disagree, does not mean that they believe you are a bad person for holding a different opinion.

Dr. King's legacy was one of non-violence, this is true. It was also about direct action, which always seems to be missing in memes and posting that commemorate the day of his birth.
