Five(ish) Fangirls Podcast

This week's Five(ish) Fangirls comes with a big old *SPOILER ALERT* attached to it, as we look back at the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) so far and how it's all fed into the newest release, Avengers: Age of Ultron. We hold nothing back, so this is your spoiler warning. We look at how everything is connected, and where we think the MCU goes forward with Ant-Man closing out Phase 2 and the films that will encompase Phase 3.

Plus we have news, as the Doctor Who extended media universe expands in both book and audio form, the passing of an award winning cinemetographer, the birth of a real-life princess, and the choices for both May and June in the Traveling the Vortex Book Club.

*Another fresh from the archives! We hope to eventually get all of our "back episodes" (aka the ones we did before we got on iTunes) up on said iTunes as time (and server space) permits. Consider these episodes a little extra squee in your week.*

This week, the Five(ish) Fangirls have been given Level 7 Access and bring you our discussion of the inaugural season of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Season 2 starts in a week, but what did we think of the show's first go-round? Does it fit in well with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? How does it compare? What would we like to see? (and what are we excited about in terms of what's already been announced?)

Also, news of the week - info on not one but TWO biopics dealing with Walt Disney, The Legend of Korra Book 4 gets a premiere date, Sailor Moon gets a brand new English dub, Iron Man's not getting a 4th movie, and some sad news from the Doctor Who family.

Fresh from the archives, it's the very first episode of the Five(ish) Fangirls Podcast! Listen to us introduce ourselves and explain how the heck we got started in this whole podcasting thing.

We hope to eventually get all of our "back episodes" (aka the ones we did before we got on iTunes) up on said iTunes as time (and sever space) permits. Consider these episodes a little extra squee in your week.

Grab your towels and hitch a ride to the restaurant at the end of the universe in this week's Five(ish) Fangirls podcast. Things get a little silly (okay a lot silly) as we explore Douglas Adams' "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Plus we have more Marvel news (it's not like they have a big movie coming out this week or anything), another convention guest announcement, and two more names have been added to Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" remake.

This week all parts on the Five(ish) Fangirls will be played by Tatiana Maslany.......okay, we're just kidding. But Tantiana and her multiple personalities on "Orphan Black" are the topic for this week's show. Listen as we try and wrap our heads around the multilayer storytelling of the Clone Club, and how BBC America manages to pull of such an original and complex TV show.

Plus we have news from Doctor Who, more guests at Salt Lake Comic Con, another reboot in the works, oh and a few movie trailers have dropped recently as well, including one that just about broke in the internet (and we aren't looking at you Batman vs. Superman). This is also your LAST CALL to join in on Marvel With Friends, and there's still time to take our Star Wars surveys.
