The event is hosted at the Equal Rights Heritage Center in downtown Auburn Tuesday night.

It features music, food trucks, vendors, kids' activities, and more.

The project makes funds available through the state Energy Improvement Corporation for businesses to undertake energy efficiency improvements.

Mason says the first step in making the funds available to local businesses is to put a local law on the books opting into the program.

The county plans to apply for state Consolidated Funding money for improvements at Emerson Park in Owasco, Frontenac Park in Union Springs and at the Sterling Nature Center.

The county is looking to raise an additional $250,000 in order to make the application for Emerson Park.
