Why did God wait so long to give consequences (like the 150 years in between Isaiah's prophecy for destruction and Babylon's actual destruction of Israel) and 2. If there is free will, why are people "redirected" in the Bible to do as the Lord says (like Jonah), and why didn't he chose someone more willing?
