Episode 237: Honestly I kept this one really short because justice still hasn’t come for those on the Trumpstein list and oil prices (and other prices) are set to continue to go up as everything regarding Iran continues. Gaming wise, we touch on what I’ve been playing, and then also mention the unique weather we’ve been seeing. Stay safe out there.

Episode 236: We’ll open with political news… like the fact that gas prices are now creeping ever upwards and then we’ll close with gaming and the fact I got to play a little more of World of Warcraft Midnight and REPO in the last week. Oh yeah, and a brief discussion of upcoming movies I’m looking forward to as we approach the summer releases along with having seen Hoppers this last weekend.

Episode 235: We’ll launch this time into the news first and then the gaming. We’ll start things off by going to last weekend and the Olympics and then we’ll close with some Iran commentary… for the news portion. Then we’ll roll into a little of what I’ve been playing the last week, including the pre-release of Midnight, the new Warcraft expansion.

Episode 234: Gaming opens things off as World of Warcraft Midnight approaches. Overwatch and Helldivers 2 also play a heavy role in the gaming the last week. After that we launch into politics, with the originally used law being struck with improper use the president rolls to using a different one instead. ICE is still in Minnesota and a young man tried to break into Mar-a-Lago. A busy week, but at least not a terrible one… it was more in line with how weeks right now normally go.

Episode 233: Briefly mention that we’re in the perfect overlap time for World of Warcraft with both Love is in the Air and Lunar Festival running at the same time. Good luck on getting that rare rocket mount! Then we’ll roll into some current events of the last week, including the bridge to Canada, President’s Day, and the fact that the Dow is not in fact above 50k anymore. Seriously, if you haven’t seen some of the memes on that one, go look them up. After that we’ll close with mentioning how easy it is to get around the Discord age verification process and why you shouldn’t trust them with your data anyway.

Episode 232: Since I’m a bit run down from being sick this is a quicker one than usual, but I wanted to be sure to still get it in. A little gaming, as we return to Overwatch, and then some recent news that stuck out to me, like the Supreme Court actually making sense for once.

Episode 231: We made it to the weekend! We’ll open with lightly talking about gaming (Warcraft and Civ) but afterward we go into the news of the week, and there was a lot of that. From ICE continuing to harass citizens in MN all the way to the Epstein files.

Episode 229: Not much gaming has happened, it was a busy week for me. The Midnight pre-patch did arrive in World of Warcraft but I only had a chance to make the new Void Elf Demon Hunter. What we’re doing instead is discussing the fact that Minnesota is currently under a hostile occupation and that we must rise together and reject the intolerance that has been festering in our country for quite some time now.

It’s a short, simple message.

Episode 228: Don’t mind me, just still trying to catch my breath from how crazy 2026 has been so far. We’ll dive in a mention the couple of game I played between last recording and now, then go into the Steam 2025 awards finally. After that, it’s more current events, with a discussion of the ACA subsidies and how hypocritical one subset of politicians currently are, especially by calling themselves “pro-life.” Bring up a smattering of constitutional law and then a recent federal ruling that should hopefully prevent ICE from killing a repeat murder. Only time will tell though. An ICE support protest was attempted, but the turnout was laughable, and we roll into the next week pointing out how nuts it is the DOJ is investigating some people for ICE obstruction.
