Flannel Cakes

BONUS EPISODE THIS WEEK! Jack and Maverick spent the weekend at Indiana Comic Con and bring you a full report! We discuss the vendors, the cosplay, the events, the sights and sounds of Comic Con! You'll hear which ICC guests were on the podcast, and which ones almost were. Plus we attended a panel on growing your podcast because we love you so much. It's silly silly fun time this week with lots of bits in this episode...a bit of the ol' pingin' and pongin'...

This week we welcome the Naptown Roller Girls! We watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which had significantly less roller derby action than we thought it did, but was still awesome! And we ate Fruit Loops which look like little roller skate wheels. Pretty clever, huh? Enjoy! Don't forget after listening to rate and review our show on iTunes! Our iTunes debut! We watched Biker Mice From Mars and the past versions of ourselves surprised us with some Puffins cereal. Plus, we call on you the listener to help Jack handle a troublesome co-worker and we fight it out over what's the proper etiquette for handling a used plunger! Be sure to check us out on iTunes - don't forget to rate, review, and subscribe!

Chris Lafave, curator of the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library is on the show to discuss the life and times of Vonnegut, who Kurt's favorite Batman villain is, and how forcing your kids to only eat healthy cereal will lead to an adulthood filled with bowls Cookie Crisp.

Peter Evans from the Indy Eleven supporter group The Slaughterhouse 19 comes on the show to introduce Jack and Maverick to the world of sportsball. There were Cocoa Pebbles and golf mysteries and bad voice actors from buzzer to buzzer. Enjoy!

Get along little cowpokes, and gather 'round the old timey internet streaming machine, 'cause it's time for the Flannel Cakes Podcast! Jack and Maverick watched the udderly-confusing Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa. This one had us in tears and heavy sweating from intense laughter and you just may experience some wet eyes and pits as well. Enjoy!

It's an hour chock-full of some tit-for-tat conversation. Jack and Maverick watched Ewoks: The Animated Series and got down to the nitty-gritty with some serious sex talk! They discuss being honest with your lover, big wheels, ear molds, and Maverick's recent cameo in a local commercial! All while enjoying some Kung Fu Panda 3 cereal! Well, Maverick ate that, but Jack ate soup because he had a deadly airborne virus. RIP Jack

Maverick's roommate Mike is on the show to discuss his many quirks - this is a weird one, people! Also, Bob's Burgers! Honey Nut Cheerios!

It's cross-promotion goodness as Nate from the Game Show Show Game and From One To Ten podcasts joins us! Check out both of those shows to hear more Maverick and Jack. We watched Captain Planet so essentially that means we saved the Earth. We also uncovered the mystery behind the strange name of the Honey Smacks mascot, Dig'Em!
