The mum-of-two, aged 49, from Leongatha, Victoria, now sits behind bars after being charged with three counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder.
This is the full police media statement from the day of her arrest.
Ms Patterson maintains she did not intentionally poison her guests at a lunch she hosted on July 29, 2023. She has the presumption of innocence.
Moreover, she has the presumption of innocence.
We are not implying Ms Patterson deliberately poisoned her relatives with Beef Wellington with mushrooms.
