Porscha Lynette Coney is a lifestyle blogger and owner of an interior design firm, P.L. Coney Designs. Porscha Lynette (formerly Mommy & Ministry), and has recently undergone a transformation by her changing the name of her blog as she’s rediscovered that you don't have to sacrifice your passions as a wife and mother. Porscha has learned that as women, we can and should stay true to who we are, which may include continuing to wear red lipstick or high heels to PTA meetings, if that’s what you enjoy!

Porscha has captured peace from NOT trying to keep a perfectly balanced life. Through her responsibilities as a mother of two, business owner, and entrepreneur in a new city, she stands boldly in encouraging others to “be your biggest cheerleader!”

Sarah Jane Alleman is the “chick in charge” at the Introverted Chick. She has grown this online community to over 100,000 followers since 2016. She recently launched a monthly subscription box business, which she describes her goal through it is, “to make introverted women smile with items that aid self-expression, increase personal effectiveness, and bring relaxation after too much people-ing.”

In this episode, Sarah shares about how she realizes the importance of working on a vision or dream even if it requires sacrifice and uncertainty – like when she began renting out office space for her subscription box business last summer. She shares how she believes and lives out the saying that “action breeds more action,” and she’s so excited to be creating and making people smile while doing so. Sarah has been leading her online community while raising a child with PANDAS, and admits that being a stay-at-home-mom for 11 years was the hardest job she’s ever had!

In our interview, Jenny shares about her balancing act that resembles an acrobat juggling many different plates on their hands and feet. The speed of each plate spinning isn’t identical to the other, as she reminds herself, “don’t drop the plates.” She keeps those plates spinning through prioritizing responsibilities as a business owner, mom, and more. One of her secrets to this balancing act includes her 8 babysitters!

Mya’s online boutique caters to women who are sizes 12+ (including accessories and items for any size!) who might not be as successful in finding inspiring pieces in a typical store. She encourages women to live with boldness, confidence and power, beginning with the way that they dress.

Mya believes in jumping into new things, like starting her business or moving to a new state, despite feelings of fear, uncertainty, or anxiety. If you live in those feelings, you will never start! She recently moved from Lexington, KY to Washington, D.C., where she works full-time while growing her online business and inspiring women everywhere. She is an advocate in embracing the shoulder pads in vintage finds – “keep those shoulder pads in!”
