Through landing opportunities with Atlantic Records and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide very early, Lillie Mae established a keen interest in media and entertainment while completing a Communications Studies degree at UNC Chapel Hill.  She now manages a diverse portfolio of work as President/Founder of Lillie Mae Public Relations and as the Author of the books “Glambitious” and “The PR Code”.  In addition to working with clients of all facets, she travels the country empowering ladies to evolve into the woman of their dreams!

Lauren Gaggioli is an SAT & ACT test prep expert who has helped hundreds of students raise their scores an average of 265 SAT points and 4.5 ACT points. After 7 years running her own in-home tutoring company, she plunged head first into the world of online business. In January 2014, Lauren launched Higher Scores Test Prep - a unique online test prep course that is focused on providing a personalized, results-driven experience and excellent customer service virtually. Lauren is also the host of the top ranked education podcast The College Checklist, a free resource designed to empower college-bound families and reduce the stress of the college admissions process.

Dr Anne Dickson is a psychologist and author of a wide range of international best sellers including Teaching Men To Be Feminist, Difficult Conversations and A Woman In Your Own Right. Her next book, Reconnecting With The Heart, will be published in February 2015.

A social worker by training, Amy Abrams never expected to be an entrepreneur. But in 2004, she successfully launched Elder Care Guides, now a nationally-recognized provider of professional care management and in-home care services, and has never looked back. Her company provides consultation, care management, and direct care services to older adults with physical or cognitive impairments, and support services for families and caregivers throughout San Diego County. Amyholds a joint Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health from San Diego State University, and enjoys the daily juggling act of running a business, running a household, and running marathons.

Barbara started out on a path toward a PhD in the biological sciences, but chose to change directions after receiving her masters degree, enrolling in law school with the goal of practicing patent law. She was an associate at a major intellectual property firm, representing a wide variety of clients, including biotech companies, publishers, food manufacturers and retail businesses. After taking time off while her kids were young, she chose to resume practicing law in partnership with her husband, also an IP lawyer. Together they assist their clients in patent, trademark and copyright matters, helping them to make the most of their creative capital.

Dr. Aimee Holdwick, DAOM, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist, board certified both nationally and in California. As a pedestrian involved in an automotive accident while in her twenties, she sustained extensive injuries, from which she spent years recovering. Acupuncture was pivotal in restoring her health. This experience was transformative and inspired her to study acupuncture. She has a private practice in Banker’s Hill and is also a faculty member at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, teaching courses in acupuncture, orthopedics, and neurology. Dr. Holdwick is passionate about using her experience and knowledge to help others in achieving their best potential health and wellness.

Kim Richards is the founder and principal of KDR PR, a PR firm dedicated to helping education organizations discover and share their stories with the public in creative ways. She is also the co-founder of STEAMConnect, a grassroots organization started in 2012 that is convening and providing resources for the diverse and growing STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) community across the US. Prior to starting KDR PR in 2011, Kim managed corporate communications for life science companies for nearly eight years, so she brings her experience in science communications together with a passion for the arts and education. Kim currently sits on the board of the BIOCOM Institute and King-Chavez Neighborhood of Schools, and is involved with several education initiatives including Art of Science Learning, the Boeing-funded Arts + STEM Collaborative, and CREATE CA.

Founder of Furious Minds, Ashley Ward has created an advertising technology collective specializing in the changing TV landscape, encompassing addressable advertising, connected TV, the 2nd screen, social TV, and television commerce. FM builds A TEAMS of subject matter experts to help seed and first round funded companies establish their monetization and commercial strategies and accelerate time to market. Most recently served as Global Strategic Account Lead for Samsung and leader of iTV practice at Digitas.
