Today we're going to talk about the potential of banning TikTok, both through the RESTRICT Act, and targeting the app specifically. To put it short, the potential for TikTok to be banned is a huge threat to both the first amendment, and the free and open internet that we currently love and enjoy in the US.

While Democrats did lose the house, it doesn't really feel like a loss. Indeed, it feels closer to a win than anything else. So why is that? This is a quick look at the midterms, a midterms that Republican's kinda blew.

This is a short list of what I believe to be some of the biggest issues facing the country right now as we go into the November elections. I also talk about what I hope the future entails, for both the country as well as the podcast.

This podcast is split into two parts, with the first one I'll be talking about their power over the modern web, and their web browser Google Chrome, and then in the second part I'll be talking about their power over the search engine space, and the recent antitrust case that was brought against them.
