Flip The Vibe

Mustaaaarrrrdddd...... sorry couldn't help myself (FYI - Flip The Vibe does not promote the turning off of TV's anywhere) However this episode is kinda about turning off the TV as the boys are talking about trauma gained from TV and cinema.

From the recent episode of anime Dandadan, to the "Green Saber" mission from GTA San Andreas and even Water Ship Down, on this episode they unpack it all. Followed by a healthy glazing of the latest Kendrick Lamar album/mixtape GNX.

Also 30 episodes so enjoy this milestone episode.

It only took them like 4 episodes but the highly anticipated Villain / Victim episode is here.

Along with the usual catch up and chatting of s**t, the boys will we talking about the line, "I'd rather be the villain than the victim" from the song "Twin Sisters - Ghetts ft. Skrapz" from the album "On Purpose, With Purpose"

Villain or Victim, the choice is your.

Ladies and gentlemen, a new subscriber has been born into the Flip The Vibe family.

With the new addition to his home, Nawal's has been thinking about all the sitcom dads he watched growing up.

These thoughts coencided with a tiktok Duane sent of a sitcom blind ranking so the boys decided to rank their favourite sitcoms since P is away and....well we know how P feels about sitcoms.

Anyway enjoy the episode.

Ok let's keep this simple.

D is away, Nawal found out P ain't seen either Silo or Severance (shows mentioned in ep6 "red pill / blue pill") so this ones a rerun...kinda.

Same subject, different vibe.

The boys enter this episode on a high having been mentioned by some real OG podcasters on their latest podcast episode. (One of them even did an impression of Nawal, it's jks).

Anyway, this episode the lads are talking about some news they saw online regarding advanced AI in games, some of the things they have seen in TV and film showing how this stuff can go down and how it could go in the real. Also the beautiful country of Benin in West Africa and the beloved children's film "Brother Bear" lol.

P.s. This episode description was written by human hands and not AI.

The lads are back again and this episode is more dumb than deep. That's right folks it's a chat s**t episode cuz every day ain't a work day.

The lads have once again been tranquilized by food pre recording but managed to have their usual catch up and talk about some of the music, shows and news of the week.

Ok.....press play now.

It's your bi weakly belnd of deep and dumb, one man down this episode but P and Nawal have linked up to look at two songs which they think have a have a similar message.

This episode the guys are talking "Higher" from the album "For Broken Ears" by Tems and "No Role Modelz" from the album "2014 Forest Hills Drive" by J Cole.

"If the pod was ending, would you cry (don't save it, it don't wanna be saved) or would you try to get it"?

Also our resident horror fan has some smoke for the new Aliens Romulus film and the guys chat have their usual life catch up.

Here we go again, we got the whole crew in and talking about Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers by Kendrick Lamar released 2022. Also a lil cameo (or whatever you call it when it's only audio) from man like Chin.

Talking cameo's the guys will be talking about the Deadpool & Wolverine film. P adds his 2 pence to the Supercell conversation from last episode and the lads roast Australian breakdancing prodigy Raygun.

Enjoy

New home, new kit, same stupid!

They have been gone but it hasn't all been beers in the sun with the mandem.

The guys have been working behind the scenes and even ended up being featured on the BBC Uploads show for West Midlands creatives, FTV X BBC and ting, live on ya radios...yea, that happened.

Anyway, no P this episode but Nawal and Duane are getting into the Netflix superhero drama Supercell.

I bet you soppy sods have missed them, ain't ya....well they're back.
