“Next Time I’ll Know” was inspired by a co-writing session Sandy Louise had with fellow Newcastle-based songwriter, Cathryn Dorahy, where the pair penned a song titled Water Under the Bridge. It left Sandy reflecting on the meaning behind that familiar phrase and questioning whether we should always forgive and forget, or whether some hurts are worth remembering so we don't repeat the same mistakes. The result is an honest track about growth, resilience and learning to protect your heart without losing yourself in the process.

Clayton chats to Hayden Phillis about his new song - Stick Poke Tattoos 

"I pulled up voice memos and while playing saw my friend had been messaging about rather problematic behaviours from a girl he was casually dating and just reading through the story of what was going on with him was enough to spark the song idea.” Over time that idea grew almost on its own. “After that I kept adding to it whenever something new would happen with him or with someone else and eventually those stories came together, and I finally ended up with ‘Stick Poke Tattoos’. The tale of my friends' failing relationships and their fears that came with it.”

Clayton has a chat with Sally Jane about her new song - Fishing Taught Me Patience.

“Yes, it sounds clichéd, when you go fishing you practise patience, but I really think we need to start practising it in everyday life. ‘People are rushing around, we're running out of small towns’ is probably my favourite line of the song and I see that with all the touring that I do…we are running out of small towns and that small town personality within people. This is a reminder to myself and to listeners to slow down and take a break from the busy lives and look around.” – Sally Jane
