At just 33 years of age, hip hop artist and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle was gunned down in the Crenshaw neighborhood he worked so hard to improve. Some hail him as an example for the youth and an icon who fought to bring about positive change for his people. Others say that as a former gang member, he was no saint. He lived by the sword and therefore died by the sword. 

Reviled or not, Nipsey's passing has left an indelible mark upon those who knew him and even those who didn't. The Ladies of Flow examine his legacy, his association with the LA Crips and the impact his death has had on the Black community and beyond.
