Collaborating With Others Gets You Farther, Faster. Writing long form content is a wonderful way to present yourself as an expert in your field. From articles to books you can put more information in front of your potential clients. While writing may seem simple, the editing process can be time consuming. Mike Woeckener, a content expert, shares his thoughts on adding collaborative tech to your editing process. He says,"it's a really neat way to go because you can actually see the other person typing. And, you know, there may be a little bit of a lag, depending on how quick the internet is where you are. But it's a really good way like, say, you and I were working on a book. And, you know, we could go through and we could edit that thing together. And I could say, well, what do you think about this, and I type something on the screen and go, you know, I like that. But I think this word fits better there. And then you can type your word in that you like and to erase what I just did. And so that's, that's really kind of a, it's a very effective and efficient way [to edit]."
