Season 3 is in full swing and honestly? I'm just happy to be here with you all again. This episode hits differently because it started where most of my best conversations do—with myself.

I've been out here socializing more, connecting more, and somewhere in all of that, I realized I was carrying something heavy: judgment. And not just me—we all were. The tricky part? We don't always see it. It hides behind justifications, ego, and this idea of "who we are" that keeps us from admitting what's really going on.

The last few weeks have been a clear call to action about embodying 'Radical Faith'. I don't truly know what it means for me in totality but I'm growing in knowledge about it and obviously had to bring you all into the conversation. We can't speak aboout faith without speaking about the fractures in my faith and their causes. A very real chat about my disappointment in the way some things have turned out under God's watch. But oddly enough, even as I was chatting to you guys it just hit me- This is the point. The point IS to have things to take to God and let Him do what is exceedingly and abundantly beyond what I can imagine. 

SO I bridged the gap theoretically and sprinkle what exactly I will be getting into as an act in this direction.

Friend Fatigue is the feeling of 'what now?' or 'what next?' but with an exasperated expression. Even though our intentions can look dazzling and we represent ourselves well, it can get tiring to constantly feel like you are auditioning people and being auditioned to be in relationship. Super tiring. 

SO i decided to share 4 Soft Truths about Friendship that I hope help you navigate the real root of your friendship fatigue. Instead of spending a lot of time focusing on the feeling and it's dampening elements, I take a different approach and chat about ways you can rule out the heaviness.

Lizzo recently posted pictures of her 'defacing' her before pictures. You know...before... when she was fat. But it seems like that is an era in her life she has no interest in entertaining because she isn't anymore?

Either way, this episode is a chat about that. What do such acts do on the other side of self-expression and making a  statement? What happens when you evolve into someone that does not need a particular audience ANYMORE, even though you may not have explicity asked for it. Do you leave them by the curb and spit in their faces, or a more modern way to look at it- do you publicly deface the you that empowered them? What does this say about how we handle our pasts and past selves in this life? I have the answer- a lot. 

I am a Communications Strategist and I attacked this topic in this capacity AND as a conversationalist. There are many angles and opinions we can have just off of this chat and I invite you to join me in exploring what those were. And honestly, there was some revelations about me ,my mind and heart. Happy new week My People! Identity politics was a phrase I heard around me so often! Up until I got to studying, observing, and literally living the reality of my identity and politics being dependent on each other. A relationship that was subtle and unspoken about has become a persuasive tool in politics and our survival.

You know I always drop a gem through my own experience with how this payed out and the ways I capitalized my education & the American political landscape's usual approach, which ultimately led me to consistently scoring a 4.0 grade average.

MY PEOPLE! I'm happy you're tuning in for this episode because it is such an important chat and I wanted to have it with you.
