Last week CalFlowers launched a spectacular new campaign to promote flowers: That Flower Feeling.  

We talk with Steve Dionne, the executive director of Calflowers about the campaign, how it started, how the project came to life, and what the future plans are for this campaign. Of course, we will also show the official video of the campaign.

In our Flower Circus Talks we had Jeroen Windt from Polderpride as our guest. Saturday the 15th it's the official start of the Tulips season in Holland, so it's time to talk about Tulips.

Polder Pride is a strong brand of quality tulips in the market. With Jeroen, we talk about his expectations for this season, the challenge of the high energy prices, sustainability, and what happens throughout the year at a Tulip grower.

We also talk about how Beyond Chrysant focuses on florists, and all changes within the company are made to serve them better. 100% quality, every stem is good, but also in terms of sustainability. From rooting their own cutting to save transport, to boxes without paint and coating. All small steps make that they are more and more grow towards a sustainable future!

Last weekend in Dendermonde in Belgium there was a wonderful flower event: Féerie Florale: Floral Christmas Dreams. The best Belgium Flower designers were there to show their skills. Belgium Champion Stefan Van Berlo will tell, and show! us all about this fantastic event.

Seafreight as an alternative for airfreight for Kenia is more relevant than ever. At the moment it's not only from a sustainability point of view, also because of the lack of space with airfreight. Last Tuesday there was a webinar about this theme. Jeroen was one of the speakers, and will tell us about the challenges growers from Kenia are facing to make sea freight work.
