Flows: First and Favourite

Glasgow stalwarts of the DJ scene join us this week to chat about how they met in record shops and how DJing has evolved. As well as their early success making tunes together. Tune in to hear more of their first and favourites in all things electronic music.

Glasgow's Brrak has been releasing house infused disco sample records for many years and someone we admire and knew we wanted to have on the podcast. We chat about his very productive 2020, what growing up in Glasgow was like and plenty more! Tune in and find out all about Brrak!

On this week's show we chat to Anna Gram. One half of Lezzer Quest and resident at Shoot Your Shot. Anna has played across Scotland in recent years with diverse sets which keep people guessing, we chat about where that came from and try and get her to pick some favourites.... turns out that's quite difficult at times....

Label boss for Hungarian Hot Wax, A&R for Glasgow Underground and Artist in his own right. "Real Love" was one of our most played songs of 2020 and we are still churning it out, as well as many other great productions. We dive a bit deeper into the culture of dance music and how people have reacted to the lockdown(s), all while surrounded by community feel and good vibes Sam brings to the chat.

Frankie and Jozette AKA Kintra join us. The violin DJ duo, who also happen to be twins, take us through first club experiences, festival shows in Europe, and how they work together on stage and in the studio.

Formerly one half of Mia Dora, now one half of Brain Dancing as well as host of other artist names, Rob Etherson has been releasing electronic music for 11 years. He has had a Pete Tong Essential New Tune, he has released on labels from BNR Trax to Glasgow Underground, Optimo Trax to Big Dada. As well as this he is a mixing and mastering engineer for the industry, I am sure you will know some of the names he's worked with. Delve in with us as we find out how he got to where he is and what tips he'd give producers starting out.

In this episode we catch up with Ibiza legends Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago. As residents of the White Isle as well as Ibiza Rocks and Cafe Mambo, we delve into their history of how they got to where they are now as a Sax and DJ duo playing worldwide.
