Daw discussed a new motorsport revving into action on the Copper Coast in late April when sand drag motorbikes converge on a newly created track near Wallaroo.

The Three Lions convincingly defeated Italy away from home and Ukraine at Wembley Stadium to get their campaign off to the perfect start.

Moore also discussed Denmark's humiliating loss to lowly Kazakhstan off the back of their disappointing World Cup campaign last year.

Moore also analysed Australia's first friendly match against Ecuador, telling listeners Arnold's squad "is maturing quickly", as the former Sydney FC manager appears hungry to experiment with youth ahead of the upcoming Asian Cup.

Flow FM's World Sports expert Eddie Dadds made his excited for another big Major League Baseball season known to listeners on the Sports Hour this week.

The 2023 campaign got underway this week and Dadds informed listeners of which franchises he's tipping as frontrunners for the upcoming season.

Dadds also commented on the F1 rumour mill with whispers circulating that Aussie star Daniel Ricciardo may be about to step into pole position for the Red Bull team, his former outfit where he first established himself as a global star.

Also on the agenda in this week's segment is a focus on AFL results, with Alastair Clarkson about to face his former club Hawthorn after a flawless start to his tenure in charge of North Melbourne.

Gawler and Districts Softball Association President Veg Ingram reviewed a big weekend of Grand Finals on the Flow FM Friday Sports Show this week.

There was action aplenty taking place across the Gawler softball mounds on Saturday afternoon at Karbeethan Reserve across both juniors and senior teams.

The Kangas team enjoyed a dominant day out at junior level, taking out both the U14s and U17s comps, while Two Wells were victorious in the Division 2 seniors and the Bluejays side were the Division 1 champs.

Ingram also discussed the award winners during the President's Trophy Presentation while also previewing the Gawler Giants' Grand Final on this weekend.

Victorious Ouyen Rams President Dom Leach phoned in to the Flow Friday Sports Show this week after the side's epic Grand Final win over local rivals Tempey Tigers.

The Rams lifted their second title in as many seasons at the Onion Patch as the 2022/23 Red Cliffs Cricket A-Grade competition concluded with yet another Ouyen derby game.

While basking in glory, Leach retrospectively admitted that he was totally unphased about the performance of both teams after both batting orders appeared to struggle as a result of the venue's surface.

However, he did concede that there was cause for concern as the Rams looked to their bowling stocks for inspiration early on in Saturday's tense affair.

Also discussed in the segment was the prospect of a venue change in the lead-up to the clash, considering the final was to be contested between two Ouyen-based teams which both had to travel to an outside town.

Rikki Lambert returned to the Flow FM Friday Sports Show this week for Episode 2 of Being Barossa United, Flow FM's new sports segment exploring the latest news and events from inside the four walls of the Hoffman Oval based club.

In the latest edition of the segment, Flow focussed on the senior men's and women's teams as the winter soccer season nears closer, with the men's side completing their first cup match of the season.

After hanging up his playing boots, Lambert discussed the rigors of junior coaching, particularly where very long car trips are concerned from one end of South Australia to the other.

Lambert also weighed in on the club's pathways from junior to senior selection, as an increasing number of talented Barossa girls are being given opportunities to impress at a senior level in 2023.

Lambert has been a figurehead at the club for a number of years and as the driver of the new segment, updated listeners on all of the progressive club's inhouse affairs and how all the junior and senior male and female teams have gotten on throughout their pre-season campaigns.

Lambert provided an overview of the club's history for listeners, detailing how far the club has come since its foundation back in the 1980s.

The club has recently benefitted from extensive upgrades and Lambert touched on what the club's future direction looks like with many ambitious stakeholders involved at the Hoffman Oval precinct.

Leach provided a rundown of how both sets of participants in the Red Cliffs A and B Grade cricket competitions qualified for the big dance showpiece events this weekend.

Unfortunately for the Ouyen Rams the dream of a 2023 clean sweep fell short last weekend after the B-Grade fell to Nursery Ridge after a hectic weekend of matches.

Leach, President of the Ouyen Rams, appeared bullish about his team's chances but insisted that no one would be taking the Tempey Tigers lightly after last year's insanely close battle.
