Here is something I’ve wanted to get to for a real long time.  The Final Cut demos.

This is most likely from a production demo reel that somehow got leaked.  This particular recording came from a high generation cassette tape out of Argentina about twenty years ago.  You can imagine how poor the sound quality will be.  Fortunately with today’s technology I was able to fix it up some as best I could.

Sorry for the delay.  I’m up to speed now and thank you for all the “get well” wishes.  This podcast is long overdue.  David Gilmour’s About Face Tour was a brief one much like On An Island but the energy is totally different.  The band is tight and everyone sounds like they are having a great time.  The podcast is broken into two main segments and I explain why during the show.  Enjoy!

Show #74 Release date: 9. December, 2006

This was one active year to say the least for Pink Floyd fans.  This podcast is longer than most other “mix” podcasts but it was necessary to cover just about all the highlights from both David and Rogers’ tours.  There were many firsts and first time in a long time performances.

This will be the last podcast of 2006.    So please enjoy this one many times during the holidays and New Year.  With all the bad shit that’s happened around the world, and saying goodbye to Syd, it’s nice to have some Floyd from the year to look back on.  Good times.

Show #69 Release date: 29. September, 2006

Wow, three podcasts this month.  Lucky you.  For this podcast we visit The Palace Theater in Waterbury Connecticut* 18. March 1973.  The sound quality was rather mucky before I polished it up as best I could.  I had to locate more than one source and even take clips from other shows to fill in some gaps.  It’s an “off the beaten path” location for a Pink Floyd gig.  Why not Hartford?  Anyway, this podcast will be last to feature a Dark Side of The Moon set for a while.  Hope you dig!

*March 7 2010:  UPDATE!!!  Its quite possible this recording is actually from Radio City Music Hall.  That show didn’t start until 1:30am on the 18th.

Tribute band The Pink Floyd Experience will be performing at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT, Saturday, 10. February 2007 at 7pm (just happens to be on my birthday so I’ll see you there)
