Nick Mason’s band is gearing up for their return to North America next month and there’s talk that Roger will bring his tour to the EU early next year! But for a brief time, both Nick’s and Roger’s band will be leapfrogging across the United States. For this podcast we start things off with Nick’s Saucers early on performing at The Half Moon back in 2018 before we dive into Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets live at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this year, 23rd April, 2022. Here’s a nice gem from nearly 51 years ago and its never sounded better! Amstel Free Concert at Amsterdamse Bos, a beautiful park in the heart of the city. It seems the promoters from Paradiso worked very hard to get Pink Floyd on the bill and were added at the last minute. Its an “out of the ordinary” set for Pink Floyd, 26th June 1971. For this edition of Brain Damage, its an excellent audience recording from the beginning of the “In The Flesh Tour’, 27 January, 1977 in Frankfurt Germany at the Festhalle.

This bootleg is titled “From The Masters” and is noted as one of the best sounding shows from the European leg of the tour. The band’s performance is solid throughout the show and it’s now all doctored for supersound! Vastly improved sound for sure but you be the judge. It was 50 years ago TODAY, Pink Floyd performed their 4th night at The Rainbow Theater, Finsbury Park, London. “In Rainbow Light” all doctored (as much as possible) for supersound. The first set consists mostly of “Best Of Tour 72” and the rest from other sources. I did the best I could to improve the sound from one to another. Enjoy! Here’s the playlist.

The definitive Pink Floyd radio show is back for it’s 17th year as a podcast. In this edition we take a listen to a nice clean rip from a famous vinyl bootleg called “Pictures of Pink Floyd!” It was released in two volumes in 1971, with a gripping ten minute improv before Embryo, sometimes called “Corrosion”, but on this bootleg it was titled “The librest spacement (monitor).

To start things off, I feature a cut from 20 February, 1972 at the Rainbow Theatre, Finsbury Park, London. Remastered and doctored for supersound!. Here’s the playlist! Enjoy!

WIN an A3 print of this image from RockArchive.com! Here’s an excellent DAT master recording from block 3, row X, at Earl’s Court, 29 October, 1994. Its an amazing recording with a little grit all EQ’d, doctored up and whatnot. It was the last show of the Division Bell Tour and would be the last Pink Floyd concert until 2005 when the band reunited for their appearance at Live8. Enjoy!  Here’s the playlist.
