Most of you have already seen or listened to some of Nick’s recent gigs but not all doctored up in a nice podcast like this.  If you haven’t heard any of it yet, you’re in for a real treat!  As I listen, I close my eyes and imagine this is the closest thing to what it must of been like to hear/see Pink Floyd in 1967.  Those of you who went, were incredibly fortunate. For this podcast, practice makes perfect!  It’s very similar to a previous podcast I did 10 years ago called “Soundcheck” (which makes for a great companion to this edition of brain damage) anyway… this time, its a complete 1994 soundcheck! When I was going through stuff, I was surprised that I never featured this entire rehearsal before. I’ve only played a few bits and pieces. So… why not. It’s more fun if you go straight to the podcast and listen.  See if you can put it together without reading this description.  If you want it all explained, then keep reading.  This podcast was a difficult one to put together.  I could of gone in so many different directions with songs that mentioned guns, knives and bombs.  Instead it became militaristic with “a hint” of war in the air.  It was after all a huge part of Pink Floyd’s music, given the effects it had on Roger and growing up in post WWII UK.  Sit in your bunker and enjoy!  Here’s the playlist.
