Jeepers creepers! Where did the time go?  So sorry for the lateness on this one and on a leap year no less!  This podcast was going to be a very long one originally but it was too much so I ended up breaking it up into two parts.  Part 2 will be posted in two weeks.

You recall the podcast from November, well it’s now David Gilmour’s turn at the Air Canada Centre!  Our friend Terry, who recorded Roger’s gig there also captured David’s first visit to Toronto in 10 years.  This time Terry (and his friend) provided me their master, high res audio so I could do my magic.  For this podcast, its a matrix recording from David’s first night in “Hollywood North.”  Hope you enjoy!  Here’s the playlist.  Image thanks to Ken Murphy.

By now, hopefully you got The Later Years boxset!  It’s fantastic but since the announcement of its release, it was clear there were some glaring omissions. For this podcast, as the title would suggest, we go to Toronto’s Air Canada Centre for an excellent recording from Roger’s “Us + Them Tour” 2nd October 2017.  This particular recording, thanks to Terry, is previously un-circulated (I believe) and doctored up for super sound!

This edition of Brain Damage features Roger’s second to last gig with Pink Floyd before he left the band and it’s the first time I’ve featured a Wall concert from 1981, 16th of June to be exact.  Not sure what took me so long but this recording is excellent and perhaps the best from Earl’s Court.  Its all been doctored up to sound the best it can.  If you already have this recording, feel free to compare.  I think you’ll be pleased.  Hope you enjoy and if you do, please consider a small donation, thank you!  The playlist is fairly obvious but HERE it is anyway.  We start things off, however with Roger singing Wish You Were Here in London last week.  As always, thank you for the download.

For this edition of Brain Damage, its Floyd live at The Sporto, 28 June, 1973.  This recording has been around for a while but this time it gets the doctored treatment… a little.  There’s a few flaws within the recording that even I can’t fix but not all is lost. I explain in the podcast.  Pink Floyd put on a gripping show and the recording is very good,  So here it is, flaws ‘n all!  Before however, I figure a nice 25 minute version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond would be fitting since The Sport gig is a diamond in the rough.  Hope you like.  Here’s the playlist

The idea for this edition of Brain Damage was inspired by David Gilmour’s decision to donate 21+ million dollars raised from selling his guitar collection to ClientEarth.  So I figure an Earth themed podcast would be cool.  Most of the tracks featured have something to do with Mother Earth or the environment.  Hope you enjoy.  Here’s the playlist!

Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets live at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge, UK a couple of weeks ago, 1st, May 2019.  It was a great concert in Pink Floyd’s home town and Nick’s first time playing in Cambridge since 1969!
