It has been announced that Massachusetts is requiring all children from 6 months old to Grade 12 and beyond with college and graduate students, to receive a flu shot this Fall. This is in an effort to be ready for a second wave of COVID-19 this Fall and doubling down on decreasing the cases of the flu. Each year the flu causes a great need to medical supplies and sometimes hospitalizations so this is the state's way of trying to be prepared for COVID.
