Ro: Într-o zi de vară, soarele strălucea pe cerul albastru.
En: On a summer day, the sun was shining in the blue sky.

Ro: Mihai și Eliza se pregăteau să plece într-o călătorie specială.
En: Mihai and Eliza were getting ready for a special trip.

Ro: Transfăgărășanul îi aștepta, drumul preferat al părinților lor.
En: Transfăgărășan was waiting for them, their parents' favorite road.

Ro: Bucuroasă și nostalgică, Eliza își aranja bagajele în portbagaj.
En: Happy and nostalgic, Eliza was packing her luggage in the trunk.

Ro: Mihai, reținut și preocupat, verifica ultima oară traseul pe GPS.
En: Mihai, reserved and concerned, was checking the route one last time on the GPS.

Ro: Când au pornit la drum, Mihai conducea cu hotărâre.

Ro: Între mirosul plăcut de legume proaspete și zarva păsărilor, într-o frumoasă dimineață de vară, Andrei și Elena mergeau la Piața Obor.
En: Amid the pleasant smell of fresh vegetables and the clamor of birds, on a beautiful summer morning, Andrei and Elena were walking to Obor Market.

Ro: Soarele răsărea timid, răspândind lumina printre tarabele pline cu tot felul de bunătăți.
En: The sun was timidly rising, spreading light among the stalls full of all sorts of goodies.

Ro: „Elena, vezi roșiile acelea roșii ca focul?
