Sk: V jedno krásne zimné ráno, celé sídlisko vyzeralo ako pokryté hebkým perím.
En: One beautiful winter morning, the entire sídisko looked like it was covered in soft feathers.

Sk: Snežilo celú noc, a teraz ulice a strechy domov mali bielu čapicu.
En: It had snowed all night, and now the streets and rooftops wore a white cap.

Sk: Ľubomír sa zobudil skôr než zvyčajne, pripravený ísť do školy.
En: Ľubomír woke up earlier than usual, ready to go to school.

Sk: Mal veľkú úlohu - prezentovať projekt, na ktorom pracoval spolu s ostatnými spolužiakmi.
En: He had an important task – to present a project he'd been working on with his classmates.

Sk: Hodinky na nočnom stolíku ukazovali čas, ale on vedel, že realita na ulici môže byť iná.
