Not many people can claim they've flown an approach they've designed, but Russ Roslewski can. During initial training in a Matrix, I found out that Russ works for the FAA on designing and maintaining instrument approaches all across the country. I had a thousand questions for him, so we sat down to discuss his job as well as the Matrix we flew this week.
