This weeks guest is Digital Manager Jordan Mulvaney. We've been lucky enough to work with Jordan on a number of campaigns now and it's always an absolute pleasure to collaborate with him and the rest of the crew at Manifest London. 

We talk about his beginnings in Dublin, how he gained experience shooting hot tub time machines, his recent move to London and of course some of the work we've created together.

On this week’s episode we are joined by Kirx, a renowned UK music video director who began his career in 2016 shooting hood videos on a Canon 5D only requesting a coffee as payment. He has now travelled the world with big crews and has filmed for some of the biggest artists in the British music scene including Not3s, Chip and global pop star Mabel. His videos have amassed millions of views and include Not3s’ Addison Lee which has over 16 Million (and counting!). In 2019 he expanded his business, starting an agency called Block Shots which connects artists of all calibers with videographers for every budget. We speak to him about his beginnings in media, some of his most challenging jobs so far and how to keep control of a set when there's alcohol and yachts involved.

Dines is a celebrated Creative Director and international keynote speaker based in London UK. He's currently active as Founder & Creative Director of multi award-winning creative agency STUDIO BLUP®️ London.

Dines has had the pleasure of producing creative direction, brand consultancy and digital creations for a diverse array of companies and publications worldwide, and enjoys a collaborative relationship with many of the industry's top brands such as Universal Music, Nike, Adidas, Fifa, Levis, Hasbro, Sony Music and BBC.

This weeks guest is director Tom Day. Tom's been collaborating with us for a number of years now and it's been a real pleasure working with him on his trademark, high-energy, volatile sport content that he's really patented in recent years. 

Recently returning from shooting a documentary in Berdmuda, it was great to hear his thought process on story telling in that format as well as the commercial world of production.

Natasha is a good friend and colleague of ours. We've had multiple collaborations in the past and the results have always been wonderful. Having made her beginnings in theatre design, exploring live performance and costume, she's now branched out into the world of commercial content and has worked with such brands as Anthropologie, Suntory, Lexus and Huawei.

This weeks guest is composer, producer and sound artist Tommy Evans. Tommy's had an amazing decade touring with Gentlemans Dub Club and The Submotion Orchestra. He's now turning his eye toward the world of composition for film and has already displayed some sublime pieces of work within the genre along side names such as Ford, Adidas, Audi & Ralph Lauren. We talk what impact the pandemic has had on the music industry and scene, his beginnings in drumming and also what he enjoys about the film format of creativity and production when it comes to music and sound artistry.

Our guest this week is director, Dominic O'Riordan. He's been established aross a number of genres of film for the past few years and has a wide base of experience to draw from when it comes to discussing the industry. We discuss his beginnings in directing, the importance of looking afer yourself on long projects and being catfished by extras.

This week’s guest is photographer James North. Again, a long-term collaborator with us here at FMLY. James began wanting to shoot snowboarders as a young amateur photographer and has now travelled the world shooting for top-level sport and lifestyle brands. He has some great insight on how to position yourself in order to maximise opportunities when first starting out. 

We talk about how crucial it is to maintain professionalism on set, strange shoots with cats and as always we hear some advice for young photographers looking to perhaps start a career in the creative industry.

This week's guest is Lou Jasmine. 

Photographer Lou Jasmine is now developing her skills as a Director - we talk about her beginnings in television, hear how to ask for what you want and deserve as an up and coming talent within the industry. We also speak about knowing when to step back from certain projects or companies when your physical and mental health begins to suffer.

Our guest this week is another great friend of ours, photographer Marc Sethi. Marc's been lucky enough to travel the world whilst honing his skills in portraiture and as such his portfolio is incredibly diverse. 

We talk about switching careers at the age of 30, the secret behind photographing strangers and as always we hear his advice to young creatives thinking of starting out in the creative industry.
