Per FMStreaming, Namsal Siedlecki è stato chiamato a interpretare il Parco Museo Minerario di Abbadia San Salvatore. Tramite l’utilizzo di un cocchiolatore, ha fedelmente riprodotto il canto di un uccellino, quello che i minatori erano soliti portare nelle miniere dentro una gabbietta. I piccoli uccelli, spesso cardellini o canarini, erano particolarmente sensibili al metano e al monossido di carbone, e perciò adatti per rivelare la presenza di gas pericolosi. Fino a che sentivano il loro canto, i minatori potevano quindi essere certi che l’aria fosse sicura, mentre invece il loro silenzio segnalava la necessità di una immediata evacuazione. Il canto dell'uccellino, dunque, rivela simbolicamente la presenza e la vitalità del legame tra natura e cultura in un momento di incertezza ed equilibrio precario.
