1. The new COVID-19 cases in South Korea stands at 407-thousand 17 on Friday. Meanwhile, the authorities decided to ease the social distancing measures starting from next Monday, by extending the private gathering gap up to 8 people.
2. President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol on Friday officially presided over the first presidential transition committee meeting. President Moon Jae-in expressed his hope for a possible earlier meeting with Yoon, saying that it would not need any pre-coordination.
3. The Finance ministry said Friday that if the hikes in oil price last longer, it would hamper the recovery of domestic demands, leading to a downward risk for economic growth.
